Girl’s Varsity Soccer - Harvey 4 Marvelwood 1

A depleted girls’ soccer team extended its undefeated streak to 8 games by overwhelming host Marvelwood 4-1. Nicolette St. Lawrence used her speed and quickness to ring up 3 consecutives goals in the first half and to give the Lady Cavalier’s an (insurmountable) lead. Kayla Mogrevejo assisted on the second goal with a prefect chip pass. In the closing minutes of the first half, Nicolette’s crossing pass found Carly Glenn open in front of the net for Harvey’s 4th and final goal.

In the second half Kayla Mogrevejo, Amanda Rubiano, Susannah Berry, and Lauren Penny all had excellent scoring opportunities. Marvelwood managed only 1 late goal. Goalie Clara Lefton stopped 4 shots in the 1st half, and Carly Glenn saved 6 in the second.
