They include Roshan Asrani, who attends Clarkson University; Michael Bruno, who attends Columbia University; Alexandra Pugliese, who attends Villanova University, and Franny Visintainer, who attends Oberlin College, all of whom qualified for the AP Scholar Award. The AP Scholar Award is given to students who receive a grade three or higher on three or more of the exams.

Sophie DeBenedetto, who attends Barnard College, received the AP Scholar with Distinction Award, which is given to students who earn a 3.5 on all of the AP exams taken or a grade three or higher on five or more of these exams. Amelia Lavin, who attends Kenyon College, received the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program offers students the opportunity to take challenging college-level courses while still in high school, and to receive college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP exams.

The Harvey School offers AP courses in the following subjects: American history, biology, calculus, chemistry, computer science, English, European history, Latin, and Spanish.
